"ಪ್ರಜ್ಞಾ ನೇತ್ರಃ ಲೋಕಃ" - ಇದು ಹಿರಿಯರ ಮಾತು. ನಮಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ದೈವದತ್ತವಾದ ಸಹಜವಾದ ಎರಡು ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ಇವೆ. ಈ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟೇ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಎಂದು ನಿಯಮವಿದೆ. ವಯಸ್ಸಾಗುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಂತೆ ಆ ಶಕ್ತಿಯೂ ಕುಂಠಿತವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಒಂದೇ ಕಣ್ಣು ವಯಸ್ಸಾದಂತೆ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾಗುವುದು. ಅದರ ಹೆಸರು ಜ್ಞಾನ ಕಣ್ಣು. ಕತ್ತಲಿರಲಿ, ಬೆಳಕಿರಲಿ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ತಾಕತ್ತು ಇದೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಒಂದು ಕಣ್ಣು ಇದ್ದದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ರುದ್ರ ಮುಕ್ಕಣ್ಣನಾದ. ದುರ್ಗೆ ತ್ರ್ಯಂಬಕೆ ಆದಳು. ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾರತದ ಪ್ರಜೆಗಳೂ ಕೂಡ ಮುಕ್ಕಣ್ಣರಾಗಬೇಕು. ದೇಶದ ಭವಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತನೆ ನಡೆಸುವಂತಾಗಬೇಕು. ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ದೇವನ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕು. ಈ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಗುರುಗಳು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ್ದು ಇಂತಹ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು. ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಮುಕ್ಕಣ್ಣರು ಹಾಗೂ ತ್ರ್ಯಂಬಕೆಯರು ಈ ಶಾಲೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಬರಲಿ. ದೇಹದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ, ದೇಶದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ದೇವನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಚಿಂತನೆ ಸದಾ ಇರಲಿ.

ಹರೇ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ,
ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವಿತಾವಧಿಯ ಮಹತ್ವ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ನಿರಂತರ ಏಳಿಗೆಯಾಗುವುದು ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಗಹನವಾದ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಾಗ, ಅಂತಹ ತಿಳಿವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಮತ್ತು ಅರಿಯುವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ನಿರಂತರ ಆನಂದ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತಿಯಾಗುವುದು ನಿಶ್ಚಿತ. ಈ ಬಗೆಯ ನಮ್ಮ ಅರಿಯುವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಸಿವು ಸಾರ್ಥಕ. ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಗಳಿಸಲು ನಮಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗದಿದ್ದರೂ ಸಂಪತ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬಹುದಾದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ವ್ಯರ್ಥ.
ಬಂಧುಗಳೇ न संरम्भॆण सिध्यन्ति सर्वॆ अर्थाः सान्त्वया यथा ಎಂಬ ಭಾಗವತದ ಮಾತಿನಂತೆ ನಿಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಆಲೋಚಿಸಿ ನಮಗೆ ಇಷ್ಟವಾದ ಪ್ರಪಂಚಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಿತಾಗುವ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಗೆ ಭಾರವಾಗದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಜೀವಿತಾವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವು ನಡೆಸಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲ ಅರ್ಥಗಳು ಸಿದ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತವೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಆ ಮೂಲಕ ಆನಂದಿಸಬೇಕು.
ಭಯೋತ್ಪಾದನೆಯಂತಹ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಉಪಾಯಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ತ್ಯಾಗಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
ದೇಶದ ಅತ್ಯುನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಾನಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜದ ಏಳಿಗೆಗಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಬೆಳೆಯಬೇಕು, ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಬೇಕು.
ಅಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಒಳಗನ್ನು ಜೀವಿತಾವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡಲು ನಿರಂತರ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಶಯ.

Dear reader, In everyone’s life, there comes a time from when all’s fresh and new. These turning points are descisive. They put one on a course which is completely different from the earlier. Pre university education is one such turning point. After nearly a decade plus of schooling which perhaps was more fun than serious academics.Pre university education is the conditioning ground for higher academics ahead. It is in these two years one strengthens the foundation for future pursuits. It is in these two years that one learns the skills that help succeed for life. It is also in these two years that one gets to discriminate between the rights and not so right.
